Square Oasts were the earliest buildings for drying hops to flavour beer. Ours is a Grade 2 Listed Building of historical merit with a spiral staircase twirling upwards to the spacious, colourful, upper floor studio flat with a high sloping ceiling, and garden views. The wooden, open-tread galley stairs are quite steep, (please see main photograph), leading up to the mezzanine bedroom area with a great view of the North Downs. Outdoor bistro seating overlooks the neighbouring cherry orchards.
