Tan Y Ffordd

Tan y Ffordd is a delightful cottage sitting in pretty surroundings with distant views over hills and trees. If you are looking for some peace and tranquillity in any season, then look no further. Theres a lovely, decked area and garden as well as a log burner for those evenings when you want to curl up and read a book in front of the stove. The decking area outside is a great little suntrap too. There are plenty of walks to be had direct from the doorstep of Tan y Ffordd with a path that will take you all the way down to lovely little cove, you should pack a picnic to take with you! Nearby Tudweiliog is the closest place to get very basic supplies as there is a small village post office and a pub. Further round the coast you will find Morfa Nefyn which is very geared up for holiday makers. There is plenty of shops here and eateries. Anyone visiting this part of the world must make the trip to The Ty Coch Inn, probably one of the more beautiful places in British Isles to sit and have a drink and something to eat! Bedrooms: Two Bedrooms. One small double bedroom located on the ground floor with fitted wardrobe. The second bedroom is on the first floor and has limited head room, ideally this makes a great kid's bedroom. There is adjoining room which has telescope which is great for keeping an eye out for distant goings on! Bathrooms: A ground floor bathroom with lovely, fitted cabinetry and a bath with shower over. There is also a towel rail, WC, and sink. Kitchen: Shaker style kitchen cabinets linked to the sitting room. A very well equipped kitchen with electric cooker and hob, dishwasher, Washing machine, Microwave, plate warmer fitted fridge and freezer. Sitting Room: beautiful open beamed sitting area with Smart TV and Gas burning stove, there are doors leading out to the decking area. In the sitting room there is a staircase that leads up to 1st floor bedroom. Comfy seating for all guests with a dining table and seating to have meals. Dining: Open plan dining area with sitting room. Dining table seating 4 people. Garden: There is a garden surrounding the house bordered by thick foliage and a stream. On two sides the garden is slopped and from the front door side there is a patio area and a lawn. The raised decked area with table and chairs is accessed from the sitting room doors. Heating: The house has underfloor heating and a gas burner in the open plan sitting area. Parking: There is plenty of off-road parking in the private parking next to the house.

Your family can enjoy the comfort of our holiday home which is at the heart of the village of Tudweiliog. We are lucky to be within walking distance of a beautiful beach which in on the Wales Coastal path- there are more beaches and hills a short drive away. We have a wonderful village shop opposite and a pub just a few meters down the road. There is always something to do for everyone. Our family have enjoyed the local area for 40 years with family members from birth and well into their 90s.
