Learn How to Bake an Apple Strudel
Together we will bake 2 apple strudels! First, I will teach you how to prepare the dough. During the resting time of the dough we will peel the apples and prepare the filling of the Strudel. I believe it is always important to observe firstly! This is why I will show you how to pull, fill and roll the dough and place the apple strudel on the baking tray. And then it is your turn: you will try yourself and create your own apple strudel! Once our strudels will be ready, we will enjoy the fresh and warm apple strudel with a cup of coffee or tea. Of course you will get a paper copy of the recipe. Depending on the season we will use our own apples grown in our big garden. Other things to note 2.5 hours should be reserved for this experience as the strudel will be freshly prepared, baked and eaten.

Party at Munich’s „Little Oktoberfest"
Did you miss the Oktoberfest? No problem! There is another opportunity to enjoy the Oktoberfest atmosphere: Munich’s Spring Festival called „Little Oktoberfest“. It takes place at Theresienwiese, the home of the Oktoberfest. Many foreigners don't know about it and ignore it. So you’ll be part of a quite local experience. I made reservations for tables from 5pm until 10:00pm in a traditional beer tent. Let´s enjoy traditional Bavarian food! Let´s sing Oktoberfest songs and dance on the benches to the sound of Oktoberfest bands! Let´s enjoy an unforgettable party! You will be part of an international group of beer and party fans. It is no fun to go there alone or as couple. You have to be part of a group in order to enjoy the party atmosphere.

Discovering Bavarian Food in Munich
Munich is an old city and full of history to tell. Going through historic buildings and places is key, but they also carry the gastronomic history of the city. Thus, we will know the central square of the city, the open air market, an amazing patissèrie and the main breweries of the city. At each point I will explain its history, the importance if its existence and which symbols products of that place. This is a walking tour where the focus is gastronomy. At the end of the course you can choose one or more places to have your typical meal, knowing exactly what to order and which beer to take. Other things to note The tour should last about two hours and all routes will be made on foot, so comfortable shoes and clothes are indicated as well as water. IMPORTANT NOTE: We will not stop in restaurants or breweries. The idea is to guide you across the city and help you to make your meal choice. The food after is by the guest and is not included in the price.

Darüber hinaus können die Gäste aktiv bei der Fütterung helfen. Wir sprechen über unser Leben als Bauern und haben ein tiefes Verständnis für das ländliche Leben im Schwarzwald.

So there is always a cozy place provided and the first drink is of course on me!

We’ll explore Munich’s “Altstadt” (Old Town) by foot. This place is considered the true heart of Munich and where so much of today's hustle and bustle takes place. Along the way we'll wind past old streets, plush shops, local farmers’ markets, iconic churches and, of course, Munich's beer gardens! All of this while exploring the history of landmarks both striking and indistinct; the fun, the dark, and even the outright strange!

Winter hike to the Schwarzenberg cave
We take an easy winter hike with snowshoes over our local mountain Hocheck zur Mühlau, a beautiful high valley. On snow-covered forest paths we first go to the Schwarzenberg cave and then gently sloping down to the Mühlau, further past the Gfäller Mühle, to the Lugsteinsee and back to the Hocheck valley station. On our way we pass old farms and look far over the Inn Valley to the Wilder Kaiser Mountains. On request, we can visit the Einsiedler cave, the Grafenloch, high above the Inn Valley. At the end we can stop at the Hirschalm for something to eat. We walk about 300 meters in altitude or take the chairlift and are comfortable for about 3 hours with plenty of time to tell stories and take photos.
