One bedroom apartment with fantastic location. With a view the harbor and the mountains. There is also optional to add one more room. Recently the apartment has been carefully renovated in order to maintain a sentiment of history. That is, supplementing the accommodations with modern comfort. The kitchen is fully equiped with stovetops and oven, coffee maker, toaster and dining table with four chairs. The bathroom has underfloor heating and is tiled in classic style. The bedroom has two 90 cm mattress with a very comfortable mattress (Medium soft in upper layer and quite firm in the core). Towels and linens are included. FAQ: Will I have the apartment to myself? Yes. Is the apartment available on date XX? If the dates are free on the calendar, then the apartment is available. Do you supply towels/bed linen? We supply freshly laundered bed linen and towels. One thing to know is that we have excellent tap water with fantastic taste and it is almost as cold as ice. Pets are allowed in the house except for in beds/ sofas etc. Nearby there are restaurants and cafés with a local touch and a grocery shop. Close to fishing, climbing, paddeling kayak, snorkeling, diving, art and galleries. Enjoy the fantastic nights with northern lights (aurora borealis) in the winter season (september to april) and midnight sun in the summer. The Lofoten beaches are probably the best in the country and maybe in Europe with shining white sand, the Rambergs Beach is one of the most famous beaches, thus its a little bit cold in the water. The apartment is located in a house from 1930 - formerly used as a fish landing facility. Secondly as a home for the fishermen during storms and other bad weather, a Rorbu. During the period from late april to october there is fantiastic opportunities to hiking and go all the trails and explore the fantastic mountains in Lofoten. All year around there is good possibility to find and explore whales and orcas. You find several diffrent tours around Lofoten. In the the area near by you find lots of See Eagles and seals.
