There are easy journeys to : the Chateaux of The Loire Valley, the beaches/ports and islands of La Rochelle, The Marais Poitevin (also known as Green Venice) and Cognac. We enjoy the peace and quiet of the location whilst still being close to all amenities, ie shops, restaurants, cafes, etc.
