Tethera Cottage is in the pretty village of Bampton, in the North Lakes. It lies in the picturesque Eden Valley, 15 minutes from Ullswater and 10 minutes from Lowther Castle. The village of Bampton has a village store and a community run Pub which serves food Wednesday to Sunday lunch. On the ground floor the cottage has a well equipped kitchen, downstairs toilet, lounge/dinning room and access to the patio area and summer house. Upstairs there is a double bedroom, twin room and bathroom.

The Byre at Grange Farm is a cosy characterful rural hideaway retreat for a couple or family up to 4 people. It is a totally private annex next to our main farmhouse in the picturesque village of Bampton Grange in the Lake District. The accommodation is all open plan with TV(freeview), woodburner & comfy sofas opening up to a breakfast bar, newly appointed kitchen & shower room. On request we can offer an evening meal / breakfast basket filled with homemade and locally sourced goodies!

In the other direction, Pooley Bridge is more populated and offers diversions such as hiring a rowing boat or travelling up the Lake on a steamer.
