A large porch with a grill is a great place to hang out and enjoy one of the best views on the Island. Wildlife sightings include resident bald eagles often perching in the yard, fox, and deer. A rustic cabin, right out of “Deliverance.” Inside, it's a well equipped clean and cozy retreat overlooking the world famous Margaree River. Margaree Forks is a great place to get away from it all, yet close to everything in western Cape Breton. I believe my happiest guests are those who are familiar with the camping lifestyle but now want something more comfortable. May 2024 a new futon is also available for guests who wish to sleep separately.
