Great child-friendly cottage on Skåtøy for rent in the middle of Kragerø's finest archipelago. Located at Kirkesund/Helleseng and easily accessible by road (+ ferry) all the way ahead. (see fjordbaat for ferry times) Included 2-4 parking spaces on own plot.
The cottage is located in quiet unserved surroundings with large terrace around the entire cottage with sun all day and overlooking Hellesengtjenna .
Behind the cottage there is a large lawn with opportunities for various games and play as well as a small herbal garden.
Water is admitted to the cabin from municipal water pipes +sewers.
It is a child-friendly cottage with beds for 13 adults +1 cot. 1st floor consists of 4 bedrooms, bathroom, corridor and separate toilet. The living and dining room is in one large living room including a well-equipped kitchen.
On the 2nd floor there is a sofa, chairs, lounge table, TV and a bed with room for two.
In addition, there is a detached annex with a double bed, power and a private toilet, and a shower on the outside.
There is no wifi in the cabin, but otherwise good mobile reception.
Short way to walk from the cottage to nice jetty with bathroom stairs and room for 1-2 boats . Possibility to swim, sun and barbecue, nice view of the fjord, late evening sun and shelter from wind. A 10-foot pioneer dinghy/rowboat and two kayaks will also be available, 2-3 bikes as well as various games and games.

The ferries connect the islands and to get to the cabin by car you depend on taking the ferry from Kragerø to Skåtøyroa. If you can't reach the ferry, it's possible to take the taxi boats that have their dock right by the ferry.
There is no shop on Skåtøy, so action must be taken in Kragerø. A visit to Kragerø's famous butcher and sausagemaker Brubakken is recommended for the country's largest selection of sausages. The fishing dock offers bowls of live fish and lobster and freshly cooked mackerel cakes, a local specialty.
