Lovely Apartment with Terrace in the Very Heart of Graça

We're proud to present you with yet another fantastic NEST located in the very heart of Graça neighbourhood - our favourite one in Lisbon! Fully refurbished and re-decorated in July 2018, you will immediately notice two spacious and comfortable double bedrooms (one of them with a nice balcony to Largo da Graça - the main square of the neighbourhood) and a stylish living room. The comfortable double bedrooms are just perfect to relax after a long and tiring day outside getting to know the lovely city of Lisbon. A fully equipped kitchen (oven, stove, microwave, espresso machine, water kettle, toaster, washing machine, dishwasher, you name it…) is at your disposal, as well as a bathtub bathroom with guaranteed trouble-free water pressure. Apart from all of this the flat is also equipped with super fast WIFI connection and Smart TV (100+ channels), so just grab a seat at the sofa or big chair and watch a movie / tv series logging in the TV to your streaming account. Oh, did we mention the outside private terrace just for you? Well, to put it simple, we're sure you're going to love this place, as it's just perfect to have your morning breakfast, or maybe a relaxing drink after a tiring day outside, or whatever you might feel like doing there... And what about the charming location of our NEST? Indeed it is, as you will find our NEST located right within Graça neighbourhood, one of Lisbon's 7 hills (and definitely our favourite one). This hill showcases the most amazing landscape views over the city, so please do go for a coffee at the coffee shop next to Graça's church (it's a 2min walk from home) and get blown away by the views (you can also have fantastic views from "Miradouro da Sra do Monte" which is 5 minutes walking from the nest). At the door of the flat you'll have the historical 28 electrical tram line (you must jump in and take a right all the way down to downtown Baixa - or upwards if you're coming back home), but if you just prefer to take a walk (which we fully recommend) you'll find awesome places nearby, like the Alfama neighborhood and the Panteão Nacional (5 min), St. Jorge Castle (10 min away), Baixa downtown is only 15 min walking, and so many other city attractions... Does all of this sound interesting??? Come and check it out!!! Our NEST is located in a late 19th century building covered in white & blue tile so typical of our Lisbon. Being an historical building, there's no lift / elevator, which means you will need to take the stairs - but it's a 1st floor which means a very easy climb. In any case, think on the positive side: this is just a small flavour to get you used to the 7 Hills City :) (probably you've already heard that this is one of the so many names Lisbon is known by...). Rest assured that one of our priorities is to make sure our guests have no troubles whatsoever arriving to the flat, and for us it's super important to be available to welcome you during the check-in proceedings, and making sure we leave you with no questions pending to be answered (apart from giving you our top tips on places to visit, to drink & eat, or whatever else you might be interested in...). We want to make sure you have a great time at our amazing city, so we'll do our best to help you out. Nest@Lisbon – Nest with Us! Walk 3 minutes to Sophia Mello Breyner for perhaps the finest viewpoint in the whole city, best appreciated with a coffee from the cafe next to the church. Catch the historic 28 tram outside the door, which goes right to the far end of downtown. If you're coming by plane to the Lisbon Airport (relatively close to the city centre), there are pretty much 3 options: (1)Taking a taxi / Uber: A good option is taking a Uber/Cabify (cheaper than the typical taxis). Please consider that Uber/Cabify drivers usually pick customers up at the Departures area (not Arrivals) at a Parking lot called "Kiss & Fly" - takes roughly 20/25 minutes to arrive to the flat (of course, dependent on traffic). (2)Via private transfer (journey will cost 30€ – you should pay the driver in cash): This is the most comfortable option, and if you'd like, we can help out arranging a private transfer with one of our partners to take you directly from the airport to the Nest – the driver would be waiting for you at the Arrivals area with a board with your name written. Please, try let us know about 48h in advance if indeed you’d like to hire a private transfer. (3)Alternative option is to take public transports: •By Bus only (whole journey will take roughly 45/60 min): take bus "708" from stop "Praça do Aeroporto" to "Rua da Palma" (13 stops - about 20 min), and from there you can walk about 12 min (800 metres) until reaching the flat - bear in mind it's walking upwards from Rua da Palma. •By Subway/Tube & Bus (whole journey will take roughly 45/60 min): take the tube from stop "Aeroporto" to "Alameda" (Red Line only), and right outside the tube station there will be a bus stop where you can take bus "735" until stop "Sapadores" (6 stops - about 14 min), and from there you can walk about 7 min (650 metres) until reaching the flat - street level is horizontal all the way, so easier to carry your luggage. If you're traveling by car and you need a parking space, you can try parking in the streets close to the flat (it’s paid street parking), but if these are quite busy and you can’t find a parking spot, the best option is to park at the following parking lot: •"Parque de Estacionamento Emel – Damasceno Monteiro" (Street: Rua Damasceno Monteiro, 2): about 2 min walking to the flat (3€ / 4 hours). •Just in front of that parking lot, you’ve got another one which costs 20€ / 24h. Apart from some exceptional situations, we're pretty sure we'll be there face to face to welcome you get on with the check in procedures. Nonetheless, our NEST is prepared for self check-in (we've got door codes for the building and the flat) for those rare situations when we will not be able to welcome you face to face. And we're always super flexible when it comes to early check-ins or late check-outs (free of charge), as long as the NEST isn't occupied by someone else.

This fabulous apartment was renovated in 2017 and carefully decorated, making the apartment modern and comfortable for you, but keeping its traditional soul and features. This apartment consists of 2 bedrooms: one bedroom with a double bed (160x 200 cm) and one bedroom with daybed which can either be used as a single bed or converted into double bed (160x 200 cm). It has 1 bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen, a laundry room, as well as a wonderful dining room and living room. The apartment has 1 terrace, with tables and chairs where you can enjoy a wonderful meal, have a delicious breakfast or a drink. The apartment is all yours. Services included: Cotton sheets, duvets and towels. In case of a stay more than 7 days a cleaning, change of bed sheets and towels can be arranged. Additional cleaning can be arranged on request. Clean and safe LAPA48 is located in one of Lisbon's most stylish and smart neighborhoods, Janelas Verdes. This 18th Century apartment has been fully renovated with much care to detail and modern comforts. It overlooks a magnificent square and the Museum of Ancient Art. LAPA48 is a one bedroom apartment, large bathroom and open plan living, dining, fully equipped kitchen and a small balcony with unique views of the river. Theres a great American "Crate & Barrel" Sofa bed in the living room, sleeps 2 (queen size). We provide a range of bathroom amenities so you don't have to travel with a suitcase full of liquids and that way you have much more space for souvenirs! We also provide magazine and books in case you fancy chilling out with a nice glass of wine and some funky music. The apartment also has a study corner with a computer. We are also BABY friendly. This means we everything a traveling mummy and daddy need. LAPA48 is walking distance from many interesting and typical restaurants. Easy access to all forms of transportation including typical Lisbon tram. The best way to discover Lisbon is by foot and LAPA48 is the perfect place to start from. Located close to the river and a 20 minute walk into Bairro Alto and Chiado you will discover the charm, warmth and uniqueness that the city of Lisbon has to offer. What makes LAPA48 unique is thats its been created to make you have the best experience possible. All the advice we give you as far as restaurants and where to go is solely based on our personal experience of the city. Guests have access to everything in the apartment. We have Washing powder and all sorts of things so no need to go out and buy things. All you need to do is concentrate on having a nice holiday and good time. There is also plenty of street parking. It costs 80 cents per hour from 09:00-18:00. Free on weekends and holidays. We are always available to welcome the guests and also to give them advice and support while they are here. Set in a friendly, walkable neighborhood, the apartment is a stone’s throw away from traditional restaurants, charming cafes, and bars. Pay a visit to one of the many museums and art galleries that pervade the area. Great bakery downstairs thats a must. There is a tram stop 3 minutes from the house and a bus stop on the square. It's walking distance to town and there is a wonderful garden in the museum. LX Factory is a short walk from the apartment and for those who like to run or ride bikes theres a great track by the river. The amazing French bakery downstairs and the very trendy arty neighbourhood. Good local restaurants with authentic Portuguese cuisine.

New Chiado Studio the Epitome of Portuguese Charm

This studio is an open space with 1 double bed and one sofa bed, ideal for four people. It was completely renovated and full equipped, with one kitchenette with all the equipment’s that you need, TV, high speed Wi-Fi internet, etc. We provide towels and bedding clothes. Coffee machine, toaster, microwave, conventional oven, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, washing machine. This studio is located on the 2nd floor of an old traditional building and the access can be by elevator and stairs. The guest has access to all available areas in the apartment. I will of course extend Lisbon’s full hospitality and give all needed support to my guests to make them feel at home with suggestions as to tourist spots to visit, great restaurants, shopping and tips of how to get around our beautiful city. Please feel free to contact me to clarify any doubts or arrange anything else required. If you want an extra cleaning the cost is 40€. Extra towel cost 5€. Public Transport: A metro station with 2 lines, Baixa - Chiado Metro Station, is the nearest, just 2 minutes walking distance as well as many buses that will connect you to everyplace in Lisbon. Train: Railway stations are also a short 5-10min walk away. From there you can catch trains to Sintra (from Rossio Station) or to Cascais (from Cais do Sodré Station) or even boat stations that can take you to the beaches around Lisbon. The Check-in's after 8 pm are charged a fee of 20 €, and please ask until if have availability. About the house: it's a brand new apartment in total renovate building (re build in April 2016) with lift, in the 2nd floor of a 4 floor building. The apartment was fully renovated in April 2016. It's modern, comfortable and cosy, and will allow you to enjoy Lisbon's mythic light! It's ideal for a couple. We will provide you linen and towels; the kitchen is equipped with all cutlery, espresso machine, microwave and washing machine. In the toilette you have a hair dryer, shower gel and toilet paper. AlfaHouse II in Graça/Alfama Near Santa Apolónia Subway

Brew some coffee in the Krups machine and settle on the sectional sofa to watch a show on the TV. Well-chosen blue and yellow accents stand out, together with a mosaiced and tiled bathroom, and there's a handy little balcony area as well. Airy Apartment (1 big living room with a double bed and sofa-bed for 2 and a complete kitchen), strategically located, near Santa Apolonia’s Hub (Subway-Bus-Train) and 100m from taxi. This apartment is in the outskirt of Alfama, is a short walk from one of the most typical neighborhoods of Lisbon’s city center. Walk trough the narrow streets and alleys where the linen and shirts hang from the windows to dry and enter in a typical bar or restaurant to eat or just to drink a glass of wine and listen to Fado. In a short distance walk from the main belvederes (Santa Luzia, Graça and Senhora do Monte) and Museums (Water, Military, tyle...) you must go on a ride on the 28 tram (nearest stop 300m away in the Graça Square. By night you are just 500m away from the Ferroviário Bar and, later on, 800m from Lux Disco. If you have the time spare a day to go to Cascais (30km) and Sintra (35km). We welcome you to Lisbon and, if you need, spare some time with you on your arrival with a short briefing of what and where to go. We wish you a nice staying in our apartment. Guests will have access to everything inside the apartment We are available to answer to all doubts and questions of our guests. And if you need we can give you some hints of what to do and see while in Lisbon Head for the nearby metro, and the 28 Tram stop, to reach almost any point in the city in minutes. Walk to the Graça belvedere to take in one of the best views of Lisbon, while closer still are traditional Fado venues, as well as the Ferroviário Bar. The Train Station/Subway Station/Bus Station of Santa Apolónia is just a 11min walk away (750m). If you come by aeroplane, the Lisbon Airport is just a 10min taxi ride, around 12Eur. There is a late check in fee of 25Eur and refers to check-in after 8p.m. For check-in after 11p.m. the fee is 40Eur

The neighbors are old, friendly, and most of them wake very early, please avoid to make noise between 23:00 and 07:00.
