Flamenco Dance Class with a "Bailaora"
We'll do a one and a half hour Beginners Flamenco dance class in the heart of Granada. To start with there is a short explanation about the roots and different strands of Flamenco. Then we practice palmas (the clapping): first learning a basic rhythm, then clapping it in a couple of different ways. Following that we do some basic technique, first arms and hands and then some footwork technique. Finally we join the different elements to learn a short choreography. You may well be surprised by what you achieve by the end of this initiation class! I also like mentioning a bit about what is going on between the musicians and a dancer when you go to see a show, so you can get an insight into how this complex dynamic works. You get a well rounded idea of the various elements of Flamenco dance within this hour, and we always end up having a lot of fun and some laughs at the same time!

Puro Flamenco
“You’ll never discover the difference doing the same thing you’ve done before..” Before you assist an unforgettable one hour long performance in my favorite Flamenco venue from all Granada “Jardines de Zoraya” where you will have a drink included (glass of red wine or white, or a tino de verano, or a beer).. At midday or during sunset around 18hr (you can choose the timing meeting between!), through a masterclass of one hour and a half.. I’ll discover you the language of this art, codes and theory, to reveal a deep look of the performance to come. You’ll learn the basics of rhythm by using the most primitive instrument of all: the palms of your hands! So you become my musician for an instant and make a flamenco that doesn’t dance for public.. to move, slide and stomp. Half of this two hour and thirty min experience is spent in the morning at 12:00hr, or at 17:30hr. Then by choice you can come to the show at 20:00hr or 22:00hr (spring/summer) and 18:00hr or 20:00hr (autumn/winter) the show can be the same day, or a different day of the masterclass ! (That you will specify me after the reservation) “This experience will be done just in one language!! The first person doing the reservation will decide one of the languages available for the entire experience for that day.” If you don't find a booking time or date available.. please write me a private message!
⭐ Sunset Hike & Summit Sierra Nevada ⭐
Enjoy the sunset over Granada from a stunning mountain peak. IMPORTANT NOTE: if you don't have a car, please ask before booking if transportation is available from the meeting location. Meeting time is 2 hours and 30 min before sunset. If you love nature+mountains, join me and my gorgeous pup to disconnect from the city and enjoy a magical walk in a stunningly beautiful area hidden away from most travelers. It is an easy & varied trail in the mid-mountain area of the Sierra Nevada National & Nature Park, surrounded by breath-taking mountain scenery with stunning views of several three-thousanders, and the entire valley of Granada, crowned by the summit of an emblematic 1.520m/ 5.000ft peak from where we will watch the sunset. This is not a fast-paced hike, but an enjoyable nature walk which is also suited for families and less "athletic" individuals. HOWEVER, the optional ascent to the summit does require some physical effort (although well doable for everyone) NOTE: If you're the only participant, an extra charge of 35€ may be due. Please ask. NOTE 2: being this an outdoor activity, no promises can be made weatherwise (ej. no sunset bc of clouds). And while this or even rain is not a reason to cancel (rain ponchos are provided if required), in dangerours weather conditions, ej. thunder storm, the activity would have to be cancelled.

Contact me always previously you book this experience: -If you do not have tickets to visit the Alhambra, you can purchase them on the Alhambra website --> Tickets --> "Alhambra General", or I can help you buy them. -If you already have the tickets to visit the Alhambra, the tour will take place according to the Nasrid Palaces assigned schedule of yours. The Alhambra is divided into 3 parts: Nasrid Palaces, Alcazaba and Generalife. When you buy the tickets on the official website you can choose a time to visit the Nasrid Palaces because only this place has a specific schedule.
