Villa Rey—Traditional Hacienda Home Near Oaxaca

Our house is a traditional hacienda-type house. The guest bedrooms have their only entries through the outside patio. Leading up to the property our family keeps a yard for the electrical business that stores transformers, posts, and the spools of electrical wire. It is definitely a tranquil place, but the crews do come and gather materials occasionally. Lachigolo is a small and peaceful pueblo, about a 15-minute drive from Oaxaca along the Pan American Highway, and around 5 minutes past El Tule. The location makes it a good base for day trips to places like Hierve al Agua, Teotitlan, and Mitla. The house sits about a five minute walk from the highway where busses and colectivos pass by continuously. There is ample parking at the house for your own car or rental. During your stay we will be available for questions at any time. We will be to the house most mornings to clean the pool, but can arrange for specific times with our guests to accommodate any requests.
