The Sheriff Murphy House

Built in the Eighteen-Nineties, the Sheriff Murphy house is a charming "Victorian" adobe home, with a wrap-around porch, two bedrooms, kitchen, a great room, and bathroom with a large old-fashioned bath tub (w/shower). The fenced in yard is ringed with fruit trees. A great option for a nice stop along the way through the mountains to Silver City. Or a chance to spend some time in a peaceful and welcoming small western town with friendly neighbors on the edge of the Aldo Leopold Wilderness Area.

Kingston Casita - the place to get away...

Relaxing, quiet, private studio with a tall wood ceiling, skylights, WiFi, patio, dog friendly. Dark skies for watching the Milky Way. The entrance is in a courtyard away from the road and shaded by trees. Next door is my sister's BnB, the Black Range Lodge, where you can reserve a hearty breakfast for $10. Consider some therapeutic bodywork during your stay. My studio is steps away in the same courtyard. Due to the Corona Virus I am diffusing essential oils for 2-3 days between guests.
