The apartment is part of the annex erected in 1950 at the paternal chalet. This cottage was built in 1850 by my great-grandfather, my grandparents lived there and my father and sister were born there. The apartment has just been renovated, it is simply and functionally furnished. In front of the cottage, there is a lawn, which has long been the vegetable garden and the only source of income for my grandma who became a premature widow.

A rack and pinion train connects Leysin to Aigle.
