Casa do Galvão was built and registered in 1947 by António Galvão. Where he lived with his wife, children and grandchildren until he died in 1996. His eldest grandson José Alves ended up inheriting it. He always wanted to prolong his family's memory. So, he advanced to do its restoration in 2008 for tourist purposes and dissemination of the entire Alvoco valley and surroundings. In 2012 our history as a country house began, offering tourists the best experience in our region.
