Come here relaxed with your sweetheart, away from the hustle and bustle, you will find peace and quiet here and you will wake up to the girls, blackbirds and sparrows.(sometimes Sunday of the church bells). Our house on de Koggeplaet in Elahuizen is really right on de Fluessen and by the harbor. From the terrace, unobstructed views over the lake. Also there is a terrace on the harbor and in the garden! Elahuizen is located in the middle of the water sports area of Friesland. A quiet place for sailing, cycling, hiking or skating! The forest and a golf course in Gaasterland are also nearby! In the months of July and August we only use Friday as arrival and departure day.

In the old core of Hindeloopen is a fishing cabin (34m2) that has been converted into a comfortable studio that is equipped with many comforts. The studio features a king size bed, kitchenette, spacious bathroom and plenty of storage. Parking is possible at the cottage itself, provided you have a small car. Otherwise we would like to refer you to the free and spacious parking space at the port. You can store your bikes in the garden belonging to the guest house.

The loft is spacious and has been completely converted since June 2020. It offers a lot of privacy, tranquility, a private terrace (with rural views) and free parking. In the beautiful surroundings, close to Hindeloopen and Stavoren, you can go hiking, cycling and sailing.

Our house is a nice little cozy home and is right in the middle of the historic part of town near the beach and sea which means everything is in walking distance, shops , restaurants, pubs, a bakery and the Port. A visit to the lighthouse, the museum, the monuments and the IJsselmeer fish market are highly recommended.. Our house can accommodate two people, couples, solo adventurers, cyclists or business travelers.
