Isla Saona is also one of the most important turtle nesting sites in the Dominican Republic.

Hoyo Azul

Hoyo Azul — the Blue Hole — is a natural swimming hole formed out of limestone, nestled deep in the jungle. While getting here without a guide is possible, a guided experience is ideal to appreciate the area thoroughly. Hike through the dense jungle before cooling off with a refreshing swim, or take advantage of one of the ziplines that also ends with a dip in the Hoyo Azul.
