Our place is situated in beautiful Buzan, a traditional mountain village in the Ariege with views stretching across the valley to the high Pyrenées from our doorstep. The space is recently renovated, using traditional local materials to preserve the 18th Century character of the original building. The Piémont pilgrimage route (GR78) passes our front door, linking to the Camino de Santiago in Spain and is in easy reach of the famous GR10 as well as many walking and cycling networks.

Le Playras, a little slice of heaven !

Welcome to the Playras ! Come and relax in this tiny hamlet, a little corner of paradise perched at 1100 m above sea level, facing south. Stunning views of the Spanish border chain. This hamlet is composed of about fifteen old barns all more beautiful than each other, giving it an indefinable charm! The GR de Pays (Biros Tower) passes in front of our house. Multiple hikes possible without taking your car. We'll be happy to let you know!
