Here it is very quiet and the nature around you contributes to your recovery. At any time of the year Baltschieder is an ideal starting point for hiking and outdoor activities, in 30 - 60 minutes you can reach all hiking areas or ski slopes. In case of bad weather there are thermal baths or indoor sports halls nearby.

Grocery stores and restaurants can be found at the train station. In winter, Täsch offers a cross-country ski trail and a children's ski lift. In the summer, the Schali bathing lake with a water ski lift is a lot of fun. Also nearby , the golf course. Nice hikes lead up to the Täschalp , Täschhütte and Zermatt.

My accommodation is close to family-friendly activities. You'll love my place because of the location. Here in the Saas Valley, adults must pay CHF 10.5 and children between the ages of 6 and 16 must pay CHF 5.25 in summer. At this price, all buses in the valley and practically all mountain railways can be used free of charge. In winter, the tourist tax costs 7 Fr. for adults and children pay 3.75 Fr. In this price the ski bus is free in winter. Breakfast available on request.
