1) We'll meet up in a convenient location for you in the Roma/Condesa/Juarez area. 2) Taco dinner nearby: I recommend this BEFORE we go to the Arena (but if you'd rather after, that's possible)! I'll take you to a popular taco spot and we'll have a bite & drink together. 3) We'll then head to Arena México and have time to see the masks. I'll help you bargain for one if you like, and I'll start to explain the basics of Lucha Libre so you know what we're about to see and do. 4) We'll head in and watch the show together! Please note not all tours offered on this site actually go in with you but I do and comment throughout so you can appreciate what's going on! I'll also teach you the right chants so you can really get in on the action! 5) Optional Fridays: If you're up for it, I invite you to add on a bonus activity (no extra cost!) which is going to Patrick Miller nightclub afterwards. This is a unique Mexico City gem! It involves high-energy music (similar to 80s style) and dancing in a really special scene. Cerámica y chelas
Join us for “Pottery and beers” where we you will create your first art piece with clay while you drink cervecitas. º You learn how to sculpture exactly what you want: Mugs, plates, pipes, bongs, bowls - whatever you can imagine. You will not be able to glaze the pieces that you sculpted because they need to completely dry and that takes 2-3 days, but don’t worry we will glaze them for you. º You glaze (paint) pieces that we already made for you, so you experience what it is working with color glazes. We provide you with everything you need: 3 different types of clay (stoneware, Oaxacan clay, Zacatecan clay), sculpting tools, glazes, and other ceramic toots. This activity includes the “firing of your pieces” this means that your piece in order to be ready needs to be cooked under really high temperatures in a Kiln. This process takes about 7-10 days, but don’t worry we will ship your pieces after they are done. Shipping within Mexico is already included. Disclaimer: pottery is a unique art and involves an extensive process and every creation is unique. Due to the immense heat of 1000 C + degrees your piece’s form might change to your initial design. If you are unhappy we will decide on a case-by-case basis to resolve this as customer satisfaction is our biggest priority. Send us a message anytime, we are happy to answer your questions :)
Heart opening hiking with cacao
