If you want to stay in a corner of no touristic and wilder Tuscany in a tiny village in the midst of the wood between Siena and Grosseto, this place is ok for you. In this difficult period we are keeping high level cleaning in the apartment. We are following the guidelines provided by Airbnb and we are maintaining a longer interval between reservations. The apartment is located in a portion of the large house of my parents. It has its separate entrance and my guests will have their privacy.

The accommodation is located in a protected natural area with chestnut woods, rivers and streams (Farma) and intense presence of local fauna (deer, porcupines, fallow deer, wild boar, day and night birds). It is south of Siena (30 km) in a context of cities of art (Valdorcia and Valdimerse), archaeological sites and spa facilities. The apartment, lived over time by a family of lumberjacks, restored bringing to light the architectural and decorative traditional specifications.

Castello di Tocchi is a small hamlet still retaining its medieval walls and a magnificent arched entrance dating from 1100. Located in the green Tuscan countryside south of Siena Castello di Tocchi still exudes a certain antique charm. Recently restored apartment Casa Lucia is set in the hamlet walls. A few tens of meters from the entrance of the house there is a private garden, where a table, chairs and BBq are in the shadows of mature trees.
