The World Heritage Centre is also within walking distance and here you can learn more about why Vega Island gained World Heritage status in 2004 or just enjoy a delicious meal with sea views at the World Heritage café. Vega consists of 6500 islands and shards and is an eldorado for kayaking and water activities. Vegatrappa is also recommended and if you like to take photos there is no shortage of motifs on the island.
