Spacious Garden Apartment with View of Table Mountain

Go for a refreshing dip in a turquoise pool and relax in the garden under lush greenery. The tropical feel continues inside with hanging plants, original art, and casual furniture. This bright, breezy apartment is well ventilated and serviced daily. The space was purpose designed for Guests with simplicity and comfort in mind. The interior style is unique in that it combines Scandinavian and Dutch design influences with unique South African design products and furniture. The space is uncluttered yet personable and homely with creative interior and design touches throughout. Exceptionally spacious, the apartment is ideal for longer stay guest and people with families or babies. The garden and grounds are at full disposal of guests and the tranquil setting against the backdrop of Table mountain makes this a really beautiful place to stay. The apartment is serviced on a daily basis by a dedicated housekeeper who's responsibility it is to look after our guests. Guests have full access to the garden apartment on garden level, the pool and braai facilities. Laundry facilities are at an additional cost and do not have direct guest access. The housekeeper can arrange for washing, ironing or dry cleaning at an additional cost. Guests are welcomed and checked-in personally by myself or the Housekeeper, Fiona. I usually try to make contact at least once during the guests stay, but otherwise we give the guests their space and privacy until they need us. The apartment is serviced on a daily basis, so the guests will have daily interaction with the housekeeper to attend to any needs. I will be on standby if the guests require my advice, help or assistance. Oranjezicht, on the slopes of Table Mountain, is the oldest most historic neighbourhood of Cape Town. It boasts spectacular views of the mountain and ocean. Nature is literally on the doorstep. The apartment is also close to the city centre. The MyCity bus system is Cape Town's main form public transport in and around the city. There is a MyCity busstop 100 meters from the house. The Uber Taxi service is also very efficient, affordable and easy to use. Many tourist sites or attractions in the City are within walking distance of the property. The property is on 2 levels. The apartment and garden is on the "downstairs" level of the property and the garden and pool area is shared space on that level. There is a 3 bedroom house on the top level, also rented to guests at certain times of the year.

Stroll down Kloof Street towards the uber trendy Bree Street for some local shopping and a great variety of the best restaurants & bars in Cape Town. All within walking distance from the apartment. The apartment is located in a street with great bars, restaurants and café’s which makes it great to explore the city by foot. It’s very quiet and has spectacular views of Table Mountain & Lion’s Head (from your bed). We have been living in Cape Town for more than 10 years and would love to share a list of our favourite shops, restaurants, bars and café’s.Ciska also does private, customized day-trips (up to 4 persons). It could be a trip around the Cape Peninsula, Winelands or City & Township tours. Please inquire well in advance. This central neighbourhood has a trendy, vibrant air to it, and the street is full of great restaurants, cafes, and bars. It's close to the V&A Waterfront, Table Mountain, Company Gardens, Camps Bay, and many other points of interest. Uber taxi’s are often lined up outside the apartment - so you really don’t need a rental car. But if you have a car there is off street parking. For a stay longer than 7 nights we request that you make use of our cleaning lady’s services and pay her R350 in cash to do a basic clean of the apartment. This central neighbourhood has a trendy, vibrant air to it, and the street is full of great restaurants, cafes, and bars. It's next to the Lifestyle on Kloof Centre with a Woolworths, gym & yoga studio and very close to the V&A Waterfront, Table Mountain, Company Gardens, Camps Bay, and many other points of interest.

Simplicity and Comfort in a Beautiful Old Building

Seek sanctuary in the beauty of this old Victorian-style building that's the ideal place to quietly unwind. The balcony doors open up for plenty of light and fresh air from the garden. The 2 single beds in one of the bedrooms can be converted to a King size bed for a second couple or kept separate. Guests will sign in with security at the gate. I'll be staying in my painting studio which is not far away and I will be available at all times to assist. Long Street and the surrounding neighbourhood has an amazing collection of restaurants, bars, and cafes. All essentials are within walking distance, including supermarkets and pharmacies. The apartment has it's own garage to park your hire car and it is within 100m of where taxis congregate waiting for fares. For short stays, a house keeper will come in before check in and at check out. For longer stays, she will come in a couple of times a week (after 11am; Mon & Thurs); there is no additional cost, the extra cleaning just helps to keep things manageable. She will be available to do your washing & ironing if you request it. Note on the parking garage: The lock-up garage was designed for normal sedan size vehicles and will, unfortunately, not accommodate large 4WD's and panel vans. For guests that are going to be using a larger vehicle, there is a shopping center up the road that has overnight parking available (R100/night)

Beautifully appointed apartment in a wonderfully peaceful location, yet close to the best Cape Town has to offer. Convenient location on the edge of a national park but only minutes away from the hustle and bustle of Kloof Street, the Cape Town CBD and beaches along the Atlantic Seaboard We live just around the corner from the apartment and are always available. Tamboerskloof is a popular, trendy suburb of Cape Town. It sits on the slopes of Lion's Head and boasts an eclectic mix of architecture from Victorian to modern. There is a fantastic selection of restaurants, cafes, and bars in the neighbourhood. We are walking distance from a Myciti (local bus service) stop, easily accessible to Uber and you have your own dedicated parking bay should you have a rental car The studio is on the third floor of the apartment block and there is no lift, so a bit of stair climbing involved! There is high speed fibre and a smart TV in the studio. No normal TV channels. The block is very quiet and residents value the silence, so please be considerate about noise levels, especially when coming and going.
