Alajuela Nature Experience
I will take you in my car to the Poás Volcano (the largest crater in the world) this is one hour from the meeting point, on the way to that volcano, you will enjoy the view of many mountains, when we reach the volcano park, you will walk by 10 minutes to reach the crater, you will be so close to the crater, maybe as never before and you can admire the volcano in all its splendor, you can get the strong gas smell of the volcano, but there is nothing to worry about. You will also have to wear a helmet, I will also show you the safe places created in case of an eruption and I will explain the history of this wonderful active volcano. The viewpoint is 20 minutes long because the volcano is really active and they are safety measures, then you will return in 10 minutes walking towards the exit of the park, then I will take you in my car to the La Paz waterfall 45 minutes from Poás Volcano, It is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Costa Rica, then we will return to the meeting point in 45 minutes. Please provide me with passport number, full name and nationality information to make your reservation, at least 8 hours before heading to the Poás Volcano National Park. Pico Blanco Waterfall and Nature Hike
This guided hike begins in the mountain-top town of San Antonio, Escazú. We'll meet at "Terminal de buses El Curio" to begin the hike. Throughout the hike, we will get to see many types of butterflies, spot some interesting birds, learn a lot about Escazú's history, all while enjoying of the stunning views that this area has to offer. Part one of this hike will take us to the peak of Cerro Pico Blanco, which has a maximum elevation of 7450 ft. Here we will take some photos, and enjoy the scenery while we catch our breath before descending towards part two of the hike, Waterfall Rio Londres. Once there, you are welcome to swim, take some pictures or simply just sit back, eat a snack, and enjoy the landscape. Afterwards, we'll make our way down the mountain, stopping from time to time so that I can point out interesting things or share fun facts about the surrounding nature. Located just a short distance from the city of San José, this is one of the best ways to experience the natural surroundings of the country without having to travel too far. Pico Blanco is known for having the most beautiful views of the Central Valley, since it's the biggest mountain in the Escazú area. It is going to be a gastronomic and cultural Costa Rican experience. The experience will start taking you to the local farmer market to choose some of the seasonal ingredients of the recipe we are going to prepare. After that, we will try your culinary skills and proceed to cook the main course. The dishes will be based on Costa Rica traditional spices. We will cook up the popular ¨casado¨, which consist of rice, beans, chopped vegetables, salad, a natural refreshment and baked sweet plantain with cinnamon and vanilla, as dessert. While you will be learning the recipes, you will share time with our family and learn more from our country and culture in a memorable way. Note: Available for lunch or dinner. Volcano, Waterfall and Atv

Come with me to visit the volcano with the largest crater in the world, the imposing Poas Volcano located in the Poas Volcano National Park. Hi, I'm Gustavo! I am a dental student and a lover of volcanoes. I grew up in Alajuela, the city where the Juan Santamaría International Airport is located. Alajuela is the second city in economic importance. We have many volcanoes! And a lot of tourist places. I grew up on the slopes of the best known, the Poas volcano. It is surrounded by waterfalls, places to walk, lots of strawberries and very good coffee! Our adventure will be incredible we will visit the Poas Volcano National Park, located in the city of Poas de Alajuela. To reach it we must travel 30 kilometers to the top. I will take care of picking you up at the airport or your hotel ( if you are at San Jose, Heredia or Alajuela) and I will take you to the top. I also will buy the tickets to the volcano. You just need to book the experience and enjoy the trip. We will spend an incredible day at the foot of the volcano. The top of de volcano can be very cold and rainy. So I recommend wearing rain gear, a coat, and walking shoes.

En el ascenso al Volcán haremos parada en la Finca Cafetalera de Starbucks para probar un delicios café. En este lugar se procesa el café para Centroamérica y continuaremos el recorrido a través de cultivos de helechos, flores y fresas. Notaremos el cambio en la temperatura y la variada vegetación, preparándonos para disfrutar los placeres del exuberante bosque nuboso del Volcán Poás. En el Volcán tomaremos el tiempo necesario para observar el impresionante cráter principal, con fumarolas de azufre. Realizaremos una caminata por el sendero hasta la hermosa Laguna Botos que nos permitirá conocer los diferentes ecosistemas del parque. Continuando hacia la zona caribeña, nos detendremos para descubrir los Jardines de la Catarata La Paz, un parque natural, donde caminaremos por senderos espectaculares que nos conducirán a 4 magníficas cataratas de diversos tamanos y ecosistemas. En el parque también visitaremos uno de los observatorios de mariposas más grande del país, jardín de colibríes, aviario, la casa antigua, un ranario, y serpentario. Poas volcano tour
Come with me to visit the volcano with the largest crater in the world, the imposing Poas Volcano located in the Poas Volcano National Park. Hi, I'm Gustavo! I am a dental student and a lover of volcanoes. I grew up in Alajuela, the city where the Juan Santamaría International Airport is located. Alajuela is the second city in economic importance. We have many volcanoes! And a lot of tourist places. I grew up on the slopes of the best known, the Poas volcano. It is surrounded by waterfalls, places to walk, lots of strawberries and very good coffee! Our adventure will be incredible we will visit the Poas Volcano National Park, located in the city of Poas de Alajuela. To reach it we must travel 30 kilometers to the top. I will take care of picking you up at the airport or your hotel ( if you are at San Jose, Heredia or Alajuela) and I will take you to the top. I also will buy the tickets to the volcano. You just need to book the experience and enjoy the trip. We will spend an incredible day at the foot of the volcano. The top of de volcano can be very cold and rainy. So I recommend wearing rain gear, a coat, and walking shoes.
Hike and Waterfall Swim at Rio Agres
This guided hike begins in the mountain-top town of San Antonio, Escazú, where we will walk together to the starting point of the hike. From there, we will walk further up into the hills, taking in better and better views as we go. Throughout the hike, we will pass an array or flora and fauna, stunning views, rivers, and eventually we will arrive at the waterfall. You are welcome to swim, or simply just sit back, eat a snack, and enjoy the landscape. We will return back on the same path, and we will stop from time to time so that I can point out interesting things or share fun facts. When we arrive back, you will be filled with a sense of accomplishment, an appreciation of the natural surroundings, and hopefully an experience that you'll remember for a lifetime! Located just a short distance from the city of San José, this is one of the best ways to experience the natural surroundings of the country without having to travel too far.
