An old windmill is 1km away. Hiking trails start 200 m from the house. In Evessen (6km away) is a quarry with hiking trails and a panorama with Brockenblick. An outdoor swimming pool is 2km away. In Destedt you can enjoy peace and quiet, magnificent views and close to the city.
