The cabin was new in February 2017. It is modern, functional and has a panorama view, a perfect basecamp for a variety of hikes and trips in addition to relaxing around the cabin. The area offers great possibilities for fishing trout in the mountain lakes and salmon in the Bjerkreimselva, listed as one of the best salmon rivers in Norway! Try also the Kodlom lake just outside the door! In the winter season, Stavtjørn is well known for its excellent cross country and alpine skiing terrain.

The Benedikte house on architect-designed Svindland farm

The Benedict house is about 10 minutes drive from Egersund city centre and about 5 minutes from E39. We have tried to replicate Benedict's hospitality - the last person to stay in the old house - in this modern and completely newly built farmhouse on the outskirts of the tuna at Svindland farm. Here guests will find peace and quiet. On the farm there are horses, we have two dogs, chickens and a cozy peacock couple that walks freely. The house is top modern and well equipped.
