We'll start at the new Toyosu—the world's largest fish market. We'll then go to the outer area known as the Tsukiji old market and Tsukiji Uogashi, a new building with fish-selling areas, including a background area that is off-limits to ordinary tourists. We'll drop in for fish while experiencing the authentic and dynamic atmosphere of a wholesale market. After taking some shopping time at the outer area, we'll purchase a variety of fish and head to Asakusa. We'll visit the popular Buddhist Sensō-ji temple before we go to my shop to prepare Kaisekistyle lunch--Traditional Japanese Cuisine--, Kaisen Donburi—sashimi rice bowls—with fresh seafood and more. After our meal, we'll have some surprise treats. Please note that the markets are lively and changing each day. Please arrive on time and be aware that the experience can run over time. Eat/Drink like A LOCAL - Taverns & Ramen
LET'S GET OUT OF THE TOURIST AREA where it is overpriced and crowded with people! This tour focuses on Ueno, which is not as crowded as Shibuya, Shinjuku and is less touristy. It is also famous with Japanese foodies for a good quality at reasonable prices. I'm going to take you to popular bars and restaurants for ONLY LOCALS (NO TOURISTS!!) where the staff speaks only Japanese. I will order signature dishes, and we will discuss the food and drink (and you can pepper me with questions). We will visit 4 restaurants/taverns in total, where you will sample sashimi, grilled fish and skewered meat, etc. You will also have the opportunity to try UNIQUE Japanese alcoholic drinks (5 or more different type of drinks) and you'll be able to experience what Japanese taverns are like. After visiting these three taverns, we will end the tour at a great Ramen shop that is popular with locals. At the end of the tour, I will explain which train station you need to go, depending on where you go. You are going to have a full-size meal on the day in several different restaurants included ramen, so again pls come hungry!

We will explore the residual area of Asakusa, Tokyo's old town while stopping by my favorite places while visiting some of the must-visit landmarks in Tokyo (e.g. Sensoji temple with Tokyo Skytree view). We will eat at 5-6 local food restaurants and shops that are popular among the locals. Most of them have a very long history and small family-owned businesses. Visit locations of the anime Demon Slayer, enjoy the most popular tourist site of Tokyo at the same time. Demon Slayer anime episode 7 of the first arc is set in Asakusa. Tanjiro first meets the great antagonist Kibutsuji Muzan here. In this tour you will find the exact place where they meet. On the way of exploring, you will see the most famous Budhism temple of Tokyo, Sensoji-temple. I will give you short guidance of what is Demon Slayer for parents of Demon Slayer fans in this tour. I also talk about Sensoji-temple so that you can enjoy the most popular temple of Tokyo. We meet up at Asakusa Culture Tourist Information Center. First we go up to the observatory to overlook Asakusa area. We will see a town where Tsuyuri Kanao is from. Then you will notice that you have seen this scenery in Demon Slayer anime. Next we go thorough a busy shopping street, and reach the main hall of Sensoji Temple. After we see the main area of Sensoji Temple, we will find the place where Tanjiro ate Udon noodle. I am going to show you the comic book of Demon Slayer so that we can trace Tanjiro's steps. Finally, we will locate the place where Tanjiro met Kibutsuji Muzan. You can take photos with their figures. There is a shop having Gashapon machines on the way to that place. You can buy Demon Slayer figures by those machines, which give you figures randomly.

Welcome to No.1 samurai experience in Tokyo! First you'll change the clothes into "kimono" and "hakama" is samurai style. Introducing with tea ceremony Matcha green tea and Wagashi sweets Next we'll watch a real Japanese katana—a traditional sword used by the samurai of ancient and feudal Japan. Then you'll learn how to handle it with unsharpened katana. We'll also do a traditional Zen meditation. It's called "Rituzen". After doing meditation, you will be calm mind and you can cut one bundle of straw with real sword. Through using with real katana yourself, you can feel one part of swordsmanship as samurai. Lastly, you'll watch a performance using real katana by host. This experience has no flashy production, but you can feel the "real". You can enjoy not only training but also total samurai culture with this time. More than over 50country, 2000 people joined in a year. From families, couples to martial artists, various people touched and enjoyed the “real” samurai world! Interested in watching a serious practice of Japan's national sport, Sumo? This is a great opportunity to watch sumo wrestlers' serious practice and training from a short distance. Feel the sumo world and observe how the practice is usually done. This experience will certainly be unforgettable. Once you meet with me, I will take you to the sumo stable and I will briefly explain how sumo wrestlers practice and basic information about sumo. Not only basic information but also a secret story of sumo wrestlers that I want to share with you. After you watch a practice, you will have a chance to take pictures with them! PLEASE NOTE: - If my schedule became not available, I will arrange an alternative guide for you. Introducing with tea ceremony Matcha green tea and Wagashi sweets Next we'll watch a real Japanese katana—a traditional sword used by the samurai of ancient and feudal Japan. Then you'll learn how to handle it with unsharpened katana. We'll also do a traditional Zen meditation. It's called "Rituzen". After doing meditation, you will be calm mind and you can cut one bundle of straw with real sword. Through using with real katana yourself, you can feel one part of swordsmanship as samurai. Lastly, you'll watch a performance using real katana by host. This experience has no flashy production, but you can feel the "real". You can enjoy not only training but also total samurai culture with this time. More than over 50country, 2000 people joined in a year. From families, couples to martial artists, various people touched and enjoyed the “real” samurai world! If you bring a camera, you can taking some pictures of samurai pauses which learning in this experience! This experience is also great for team building up to about 15 people. Authentic Japanese Tea Tasting Matcha, Sencha, & Gyokuro
We will be tasting 12 different types of Japanese green tea such as sencha green tea, matcha green tea powder, and gyokuro green tea. All teas will be selected and sourced by us from family farms in Japan. We will do our activity in a cozy apartment environment in down town Tokyo. It will be a few minutes walk from the Morishita station and 10 to 15 minutes walk from Ryogoku station. All teas will be brewed and served in a way that brings out the tea's character to the fullest. We will be serving wide range of teas from daily tasty teas to hand picked premium teas. First, we will go over about the general information about Japanese tea, how it's made and its history. Then we will taste variety of different green tea from different regions. We will provide sencha green tea, matcha green tea powder, and the prestige gyokuro green tea. Also we will serve traditional Wagashi (Japanese sweets) as well. Our tea experience outline will be as follows: - Learning about Japanese Tea and the history - Taste Different Sencha from different regions (7 selections) - Taste Different matcha from different regions (4 selections) - Taste the premium gyokuro (1 selections) - Taste Japanese Wagashi and food pairing with Japanese tea *This will NOT be a course of Traditional tea ceremony experience. It will be focused more of the taste and how it the green tea is produced and made.
Sushi-making Experience
There are various kinds of sushi, but we will make 5 kinds thi time (Nigiri sushi, Tamagyaki-sushi, winding winding, manual winding, fine winding). Generally there are two kinds of hand grips (kotegaeshi/tategaeshi). I will make sushi by this method. Becuase my shop is a shop that last 100 years, I have inherited the technology you will experienced it. Let's grab it in a sushi craftmanship. And let's make goals that sushi can be made even if yo return home! Let me eat lunch together because I also hold a sushi for you. And if there is something you want to know abot sushi, I will gladly answer. Other things to note There's nothing special to prepare. Please come with casual clothes.

Cheers! We will start Omakase style with drinking Seasonal drinks. Then we will briefly introduce a few facts about sake and Japanese-food. The drinks we will prepare are unique and cannot be found in many other places. Our seasonal drinks include unique sake . ・7 Wagyu plate : (7pearling Sake&Jin ) ・1 salad plate 1 ・2 Desert 2 plate *If you can't drink alcohol, you can drink up to 2 glasses of craft juice. The wagyu which we using is the soft quality and the good balance of marbling making its rich flavor. The fat is sweet and the combination with the sizzling scent makes "WAGYU" known as the taste of art. The balance of fat and lean is said to be the best among the WAGYU. Furthermore, as you know Wagyu is not the thing for just red meat to eat so we will prepare and provide various part of WAGYU. In the end, we will enjoy the world-class taste of Japanese Food and the mixture of sake. Let us enjoy the feast with all our 5 senses. Traditionally, Manga was drawn on paper with ink and gray screen tones. These days, artists sometimes use digital tools. In my class, you will experience the traditional way of drawing. We’ll begin with a 30-minute meet-up! After hanging out with new friends, you can enjoy watching a 60-minute comedy show about Japan. (Title "My Japanese Perspective") I’m a Japanese stand-up comedian and I’ll introduce you to Japanese history, religion, culture, sex, and the recommended sightseeing spots in a funny way. After this comedy show, you’ll be able to understand "why Japanese people are like this." Bike Tokyo Downtown & Sea food Dinner
We meet at my shop in Asakusa it is 3-16-1 Asakusa. Dear Heim Asakusa 12story Building 2nd flower you can enter from ground revel both side of stairways. Then, after a Bike adjustment, we first step into the precincts of the 1300 year old Asakusa Temple. I will explain the history and origin in Kaminarimon, Gate, Fujin/Rijin god, Mr. Nioh and Agyo and Ungyo and take pictures with them. And, Sumida River famous for fireworks since Edo era, heading to the new Tokyo Sky Tree, feel height of 634 m at the basement. Kannonura, other unusual shops such as various plastic hoods to Kappa Bashi. Ueno Park through Akihabara, kanda remaining the subculture town, into the Imperial palace North garden, Through out Ginza, Nihonbashi, Go back to Asakusa, dinner of sashimi, seafood rice bowl etc. Which just purchased in the Toyosu market in the morning is waiting. Other things to note If you have a Ruck sack, Sunglasses, Sneakers, Rain wear for light rain. Usually use to bicycle, to be able to ride a bicycle even about 20 km, and necessarily for the fitness can walk 5 km or 6 km.
